Sandy G. Nunn, MBA, V.P. Operations & Finance

Experience: 12 years of Federal Law Enforcement Experience in domestic & International investigations dealing with money laundering, narcotics smuggling, arms & munitions smuggling, child pornography, fraud, counterterrorism, UN Sanctions with additional experience in Secret Service and Diplomatic Security & 2 years of corporate experience in the high tech industry

Sandy Nunn has appeared numerous times in the national and local media to include television news programs, radio talk shows, the New York Times, Washington Post, Miami Herald, CNN.com, Indianapolis Star, The Whistleblower and many more.  She has testified before the U.S. Senate and spoken to audiences nationwide in numerous appearances including Smith College in February 2003.

As one of SIG International's Co-Founders and Vice-President of Operations & Finance, Sandy Nunn possesses a wealth of practical experience in the private and public sectors as well as the domestic and international arenas regarding counterterrorism, security, whistleblower issues and discrimination practices.

From 1994-1995, Sandy Nunn served in a Diplomatic assignment in Skopje, Macedonia as Acting Head of Investigations and Investigator with an International Team sent to monitor shipments of goods in and out of Serbia during the United Nations Sanctions Against Serbia. Three months after leaving Macedonia, she was chosen out of only 3 candidates in the United States to serve in another Diplomatic assignment as Lead American Investigator in Brussels, Belgium at the European Headquarters for the UN Sanctions where she worked with an elite team of international investigators under the auspices of Ambassador Napolitano. While serving here, she oversaw over 300 international investigations dealing with violations of the UN Sanctions.


 



Cathy Harris, Public Relations Consultant

Experience: 25 years of federal law enforcement and military experience combined with public relations and community activism

  • Primary focus: Public Relations and media exposure, public speaking, writing, discrimination consulting.
  • Author of: "Flying While Black--A Whistleblower's Story"
  • Hobbies: Writing, photography, public speaking, walking.

Cathy Harris has appeared numerous times in the national and local media to include television, radio, magazines and newspapers.  She has testified on Capital Hill and was instrumental in helping to change federal Customs laws concerning illegal search practices by Customs authorities on inbound passengers arriving into the U.S. on International Flights.
